Konstantin Rybalov
Legal attorney, Ph.D, member of the Attorney Chamber of Moscow, member of the Legal Advisors Association Moscow Department. Professional experience since 1999.
Since 2005 has been a Partner of the “Barshevsky and Partners” attorneys board. Specialization – criminal cases, court trials by jury, family disputes, including complex divorcing processes, property disputes between former consorts, parental rights protection. Konstantin Rybalov is fond of science and teaching, has a number of publications on legal issues in the Russian periodicals, the author of the book called “A special judicial proceedings order in the Russian Federation and its implementation problems” (Moscow., 2004).
A Legal Attorney is first and foremost a fighter. In the interests of its defendant the latter opposes the acting authorities in power, the state prosecuting machine, and in some cases Attorneys oppose the society. Besides fighting spirit an Attorney needs psychology, acting technique and of course deep legal knowledge.
The aim of an Attorney is to make the prosecution version questioned. If doubts about the defendant’s guilt can’t be cleared, the latter must be found not guilty. And let a hundred of guilty people escape punishment rather than one innocent be punished.
What are the main criteria of my accepting and starting a case? The case should be interesting and difficult – it ignites excitement like the one of a hunter, when you think over not only the retreat ways, but make your own “traps and snares”. But the strongest motivation to accept a case is confidence in your defendant’s innocence.
I have practiced a lot of interesting cases. Among them one can find those which were marked by my colleagues in advance as “no - win cases”. I proved it to be otherwise.
My main specialization and my passion are court trials by jury. Exactly in court trials by jury there is a real chance of acquittal verdict, the highest reward for an Attorney.
What is this site designed for? Here I post attorney’s stories of my own experience. The stories are of some interest from the professional point of view and every day experience.
